Multiplayer, contrary to popular belief

Nintendo announced that the Ambassador games would not be the full games, but just the single-player versions of the original NES games.  They lied.

I've been going through the games and testing the local multiplayer after I noticed in the virtual console manual that there's a way to switch the controls to the 2-player input, allowing for hotseat multiplayer games to be played locally, like Super Mario Bros. and Mario Golf (which are the only two I've tried it with so far).

I guess Nintendo meant to say that they'll be adding some kind of wireless 3DS-to-3DS play to these games, though I'm not sure how it would work for some of the titles.

Did Nintendo specifically state that the games would be released with everything, or have people assumed they would be because Nintendo didnot say otherwise...

Remember our private bet? Christmas is when we know. Shall pick a date, suggest December 31st.

Very disappointing about Nintendo. Love Mon

Nintendo said that the games they release for the Ambassador program wouldn't have multiplayer until after an update, but it turns out most of them actually do have it. It's kind of a good thing, so no shame for Nintendo.

Also I don't think the "holiday season" is over until sometime in January, but I guess it matters on when they release the results. We shall see =p
